Who has not learned one of those fables in which Jean de La Fontaine describes situations, sometimes transposing them into the animal kingdom (but not only).
It is my time very pleasant to resume listening to them without having the sword of Damocles above your head with the note of recitation ... On the other hand, if you have a child old enough to learn one of the fables, perhaps thatAlexa will give you additional support to help him memorize the recitation. And who knows, one day ... maybeAlexa will bring a 10/10 home in recitation!
The skill opens at the command: " Alexa opens Fables de la Fontaine ». If you have a screen available (Spot or Show) the text of the fable is displayed. But as much on one as the other only the beginning of the fable is displayed and if you touch the screen to scroll the text, the skill stops. It must be reopened and there not sure to have the same proposed in narration. It's quite a shame from this point of view. The monotonous tone ofAlexa used to recite the Fable is understandable, let's not forget that it's an AI talking ...
Here is the list of Fables that I was able to identify:
- The oak and the reed
- the lion and the rat
- the crow wanting to imitate the eagle
- the fox and the stork
- the swallow and the little birds
- The Fox and the Crow
- the wolf and the lamb
- the two bulls and a frog
- the grasshopper and the ant
I do not certify the completeness of the fables available, but after multiple launches, it is only those above that have been recited to me.
Note 4/5 very nice skill, educational, an introduction with the list of available fables would be welcome.
