Alexa offers a new experience for news
As confirmed by our surveys on our community Alexa & Amazon Echo, one of your first use ofAlexa is none other than to keep you abreast of current events, in particular with the many radio stations and news flash, on par with the music. Amazon Understood this and decided to renew our information experience a little with a long format allowing access to more content.
If you ask Alexa read the news for the first time, you will be prompted to select your favorite news channel. Then the voice assistant will suggest this channel to you each time when you ask her " Alexa, What are the news ? "Or" Alexa, read the information" page (in French).
You can define or modify your favorite news channel very easily:
- Open your application Alexa,
- Go to " Settings ",
- Go to the section " New " and "My news channel"
- Select your favorite news channel.
If others should follow very soon, four radios are currently available: France Info, France Inter, Radio France and Europe 1.
Obviously, you can consult another source at any time by simply saying « Alexa, what's the news of [news channel name] ? ". News flash is always available by simply saying: " Alexa, play my daily flash ».
