Echo Show 8: Caribou unboxing!
Being in good shape and ultimately leading to nothing, no press release copy / paste, we are doing everything we can and reveal to you the first French-Quebec unboxing of the new Amazon Echo show 8 ! And, at first glance, it is not made of the same essence as its little brother ...
Presented in a turquoise blue packaging very similar to those we are used to seeing, its presentation is always so pleasant and stimulating ! Amazon does not upset any of its codes, but who would dare to complain? Certainly not Les Alexiens!

Once released from its packaging, Echo Show 8 reveals its curves. Less angular, its edges are softer than those of its elder Echo Show 2, more like the little one Echo Show 5 unveiled in June 2019. We are of course a apparatus Amazon Echo 3rd generation.
At the back, we find a power port, for an micro-USB port whose utility other than purely functional for Amazon remains to be determined - hey yes, we'll give you a test shortly, tabernak! - as well as a 3.5 mm mini-jack type audio output. Okay, that's all well and good, but what exactly is it? Well this is a pretty smart display with flattering finishes. It's the same fabric and the same shade here as on Echo Studio. In less massive however since our new darling weighs about 1 kg and measure 200,4 x 135,9 x 99,1 mm. In fact, you could imagine, it is the perfect intermediary between Echo Show 5 (5 inches) and Echo Show 2 (10 inches).

On its upper part, we find the three traditional buttons volume + / volume - and obviously the essential mute button allowing to cut off listening toAlexa for maximum confidentiality. Besides Amazon did not forget to do the same with his 1 Mpx optical which, as on Show 5, is equipped with a camera cover allowing it to be closed and deactivated in a gesture. Perfect !
