I bought this plug and I have a little connection problem when it is outside.
I installed it on one of my two hubs, so zigbee, and when I'm inside with the plug no problem it works but when I'm outside the device no longer receives the signal! I guess it's the zigbee signal or the network signal? I don't know I have doubts Outside I have a TP Link EAP110-Outdoor
which is also on a 2.4 but not the same as the interior, can you tell me if it is because of this that it does not work or because my hub is too far (not more than 8 m), thank you.
if not this socket is nickel
Hello,
Your access point is a Wi-Fi repeater, not ZigBee, so it is not to blame. The two protocols using the same band (in Europe anyway), if the Wi-Fi signal goes badly outside, it is surely also the case of the ZigBee signal. Bringing your ZigBee hub closer can solve the problem, otherwise you can also bring a repeater device closer which are, in general, those directly supplied by the current such as outlets. It all depends on the brand, your hub, etc ...
Have a good day
