After a few new features that appeared at the start of the year and a major overhaul of its application last month, the connected lighting specialist will soon enrich its neo-retro range of variable blank models called unsurprisingly Philips Hue Filament White Ambience.
Like the Filament White range, three versions should strengthen the range in the coming weeks: a classic bulb format A19 / A60, a more original ST19 / ST64 also called Edison and a voluminous globe G25 / G93. Excellent news for our editorial staff who regretted the lack of variation in the heat of the whites during the Philips Hue White Filament E27 test.
As with the previous models, these will of course be mainly decorative bulbs since they will only deliver one 550 lumens luminous flux. Do you find that not fair? Well that's true on paper, but in reality we rarely install them alone and our filament bulb tests were overall satisfactory from a point of view.
More good news for fans of small formats, Philips Hue White Filament E14 will also be marketed very soon.
A format that keeps the style of our chandeliers while modernizing them with smart bulbs aesthetic and, of course, controllable with the very famous Hue application, our home automation boxes, or even by voice with our voice assistants. We do not know, for now, whether they will be immediately offered in White Atmosphere, but there is no doubt that they will also end up being declined in this way.
